Sauberger Main and Guiding Shaft

Numerous physical remnants from these mining periods have been preserved, such as the facilities of the Sauberg main and winding shaft — including their spoil heaps — the ruins of the Morgenröthe ore-sorting plant, and the Kulturhaus (cultural center). Today, the Sauberg main and winding shaft serves as the Ehrenfriedersdorf visitor mine.
