Day of Traditional Craftsmanship

Discover the craft of gemstone cutting and design creations made of wood and stone.

Program:

  • Open house at our gemstone cutting workshop (until 3:00 PM)
  • Visit the gemstone cutter in the museum foyer
  • Crafting with wood, wire, and gemstones for all ages in the mine smithy (until 5:00 PM)
  • Special guided tours: "Agricola and the Art of the Ehrenfriedersdorf Water-Wheel Mechanism" (Focus: the Ehrenfriedersdorf water-wheel mechanism and the associated craftsmanship)

As the number of participants for the special tour is limited, advance registration is strongly recommended!
