Accessibility

Due to local conditions, the Zinngrube Ehrenfriedersdorf is unfortunately not fully accessible to people with limited mobility. Consequently, participation in our mine tours is restricted to individuals with sufficient physical fitness.

Specifically, this means:

- Sure-footedness is essential due to the uneven terrain underground. For safety reasons, touring the mine is therefore not possible for individuals using walking aids, rollators, or wheelchairs.

- All tour participants must be capable of navigating the 30-meter escape route via ladders largely on their own in the event of a hoist system failure.

An alternative above-ground program for individuals unable to enter the mine is available only by prior arrangement. Please consult our museum staff when booking your visit. We cannot guarantee that this alternative program will be available on short notice for every scheduled tour. We appreciate your understanding.
